Started in 1922. Lindsay Drug Co was originally owned and operated by John Lindsay. William Eccles Sr. took over the business from John Lindsay and kept the name since it was already a highly regarded and well-established business in the community of Lansingburgh, Troy. After completing pharmacy school in 1962, Bill, Jr., and Sr. formed a partnership and incorporated the business in 1984., moving to a much larger building across the street from the original location, affording them the opportunity to branch out to other areas of the medical field to include durable medical equipment and supplies, offering more than just prescription medications.
